Mr. Homeyer talked about amnesty permits. <br /> Mr. Ellis will report back to the Committee on this. Mr. Hoeyer <br /> asked for support at Can Commmeetings re: dock issues. Mir. <br /> Hankspassed around photos showing the results of hand pumping <br /> on Great River; he stated that Conservation says this is alright. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS: Mr. Hanks reported on the dinghy gook at South <br /> Cape Beach. He did some research with legal counsel, and the <br /> State plans to build a new beach and offer it to Mashpee. He <br /> would like to see a small marina included. Mr. Hanks expressed <br /> concern that there was no mention of the 1 -acre land deal if <br /> Mashp'ee takes over within five years. He suggested someone <br /> should go to the South Cape Beach Advisory Committee meetings, <br /> Dr. Gordon stated we reed to get some feedback from the Selectmen <br /> to determine the role of Waterways, Mr. Hanks stated that <br /> Mashpee Coastal Resource Management Plan and the Municipal Harbor <br /> Plan wart a Committee formed with Waterways being a part. Dr. <br /> Gordon encouraged Mr. Hanks to call a meeting and force the <br /> issue. r. Hanks stated he already prepared an agenda; the <br /> 'down Planner was not interested. Dr. Gordon asked Mr. Hanks <br /> to make a presentation at the next meeting, and we will send <br /> a letter to the Selectmen* <br /> Mr. Ellis will prepare a written report for the November meeting <br /> since he will be on vacation, <br /> The meeting adjourned at p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Mary isthorpe <br /> Board Secretary <br />
