Someone could be injured on the days when they were <br /> hunting. Bill suggested that hunting be continued as it has been. <br /> Tom Cahir stated that the fact was that six days of hunting during the hunt- <br /> ing season has worked and worked well,, He felt that it was unfortunate <br /> that every year the hunters had to be dragged in here. <br /> George Green, member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council and the Mashpee <br /> Conservation Commission stated that he could not see why this issue continued <br /> to come up, <br /> CIm. Kirsner explained that. the committee had a responsibility under the terms <br /> of the 1981 Agreement to review the hunting issue each year. Therefore, we were <br /> performing what we are responsible for* We would not know whether there <br /> have been any accidents or incidents until we hold the meeting. <br /> Ray Bowman, hunter, stated that he had the impression that. some of the mem- <br /> bers of the committee come -to the meeting with a preconceived notion as to <br /> what they granted to do.
