ti f SOUTH CAPE BEACH ` 3/9/.99 PAGE 'STI OTHER MATTERS : Con t inu.ed Chm, Kirsner explained that he had received a letter dated February 22 , 1999 from Forrester "Tim" Clark which explained that he W .ou'ld assume the role of Assistant to the Director, Division of Fore -t 'and Parks . He looked forward to hearing from the committee relative to our future meetings . A copy of this cor-respondence has been. forwarded to all members of the committee. Mortis also- asked that Mr . Clark' s name be added to the South Cape Beach mailing list . Bill. Martiros reminded the meeting of their prior discussions relative to the installation of a signal at the rotary to ad- vise the public when the 'parking lot for South Cfape Beach was full to capacity . T-hi . would make -it unnece -ar r for the pub- lic to go all the way down to the beach, and thea tura around if all spaces were occupied . Morris stated that recommendation had . been made to DFM some time ago . Bill also reminded that he had made the additional suggestion , last year that a turn-around be installed for when they reach that point , and find th-e parking lot -full. , they would be able to turn around and leave. Lance suggested that the Regional Transit Authority, through the Cape Cod- Commission, the 'Transportation Dept , ,_ would pr.obably be willing to help out. with something like that. He did. not know what kind of permission they would need to pay for the installation of a- sign that says , "Lot is, Yull" , Lance agreed to try to determine if- the Regional 'Transit Author- ity. would be- wi-fling to help in any way t install something like that . He will report to thb committee his findings at the next meeting. Discussion of the use of shuttle buses to transport senior citi- zens , etc , to the park. Bill suggested that the Agreement of 1.981 should be placed on t -eth-e agenda for d .sous-cion . at future meetings ; issues that have not previously been brought up. VII ADJOURNMENT Having no further business - before it , the meeting adjourned at 7 : 45 P . rn, There will be no April. meeting . The members wi.11 be notified relative to th.e next meeting date.
