South Cape Beach Supervisor TIM CLARK, DEM WILLIAM BAILEY THE MASHEE ENTERPRISE II MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Minutes- of July 20 , 1999 : Correction : Morris Rlrsner acknow- ledged the retraction of the statement made in minutes of July 20th that there was no representative present at this meeting from DEM. It was recognized that Tim Clark. of" DEM, and Joseph- Souza , South Cape Beach Supervisor were present Minutes of ,duly 20th. were accepted as amended . ITI DISCUSSION OF 10A SITE : M. Rirsner was happy to report he--had met at Senator Rauschenbaeh ' s Office with h1s. ch-ief administrator. The situation, as. we ono it , was discussed that under the Agreement , the Town would get the Ten Acre Site by deed , provided legislative approval was obtained . The legislation that was prepared was totally contraty to ghat the Agreement of June 1.981 stated . The Agreement did not require any monies to be paid for the lO Acre Site . In essence, the State is living up to its commitment to the provisions between the Town of Mashpee and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to attempt to transfer th-e land to the Town of Mahpee for no con- sideration . { In the event that the legislation should not be approved , then, in such case, DEM is legally obliged to lease the land to the Town for 99 years .,. .gar th.e nominal consideration of $1. 00 .
