It was recognized that Tim Clark. of" DEM, and <br /> Joseph- Souza , South Cape Beach Supervisor were present <br /> Minutes of ,duly 20th. were accepted as amended . <br /> ITI <br /> DISCUSSION OF 10A SITE : <br /> M. Rirsner was happy to report he--had met at Senator Rauschenbaeh ' s <br /> Office with h1s. ch-ief administrator. The situation, as. we ono <br /> it , was discussed that under the Agreement , the Town would get <br /> the Ten Acre Site by deed , provided legislative approval was <br /> obtained . <br /> The legislation that was prepared was totally contraty to ghat <br /> the Agreement of June 1.981 stated . The Agreement did not require <br /> any monies to be paid for the lO Acre Site . In essence, the <br /> State is living up to its commitment to the provisions between <br /> the Town of Mashpee and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to <br /> attempt to transfer th-e land to the Town of Mahpee for no con- <br /> sideration . <br /> { <br /> In the event that the legislation should not be approved , then, <br /> in such case, DEM is legally obliged to lease the land to the <br /> Town for 99 years .,. .gar th.e nominal consideration of $1. 00 . <br />
