III DISCUSSION OF LEGISLATION RELA'T'IVE TO TEN ACRS' SITE -Representative Matthew Patrick Welcome to Representative Patrick. . Congratulations on his election. Mr. Kirsner explained that he had been speaking to .the Representa- tive' s epre enta-tive' office and to Peggi K nner, Legislative Aide to Rep. Patrick , and had attended a meeting previously at the State House, relative to the need for legislation to start the legal process to have the State convey title to the Teri Acre Site to the Town of Mahpee* Mr. Kirsner explained. that Pcggi Konner had faxed to him a e .py of the proposed legislation, which he will ask the board secretary to rake cop_ i-e , and forward to the member f the committee., The chairman read the proposed legislation to the meeting copy of the proposed legislation is attached. to the minutes . Mr. Kirsner explained that this legislation, as drafted., was in accordance with Paragraph 17 of the 1981 Agreement between the Town and DEM. It contains no conditions wh-atsoever, because there were no conditions in Paragraph 17 . It contains no pro- vision for purchase price because none was intended. Mr, Kirsner congratulated Rep. Patrick in going t�cai4u first stage. He stated that was well done .
