Kirsner explained that the bill for the legi s la ion . had. been <br /> scheduled t be filed bar Rep. Matthew Patrick, We had beenad- <br /> vised bar Peggi Konner, the Representative' s Legal Aid, that the <br /> legislation was in the ?pules Committee. The Representative will <br /> -refer it to the Howe 9 Clerk. It will then be referred to the <br /> TX7ays and Means Committee. If the legislation should reach the <br /> Ways and Mears Committee, Mr, Kirsner recommended that a number <br /> of members of the advisory committee accompany him and attend <br /> the rating, and renew their discussion. <br /> Mr. Kirsner explained- that the only defense the- the State has <br /> set up was the economics that they have to Provide an access � <br /> road, since roads cost money, Beyond that, there should be no <br /> other costs involved other than having a deed drawn by Town <br /> Counsel , transferring title to the Ten Acre Site to the Town of <br /> Mashpee-, pending the improvement of an access road within <br /> certain given period of time, under certain conditions. <br /> Iv DISCUSSION of PROCLAMATION: <br /> Mr, Kirsner stated that Jerry Monaghan had been ars outstanding <br /> and faithful memher of the committee, and he had made an input <br /> which was of great importance to the objectives of the committee. <br /> When Terry passed. away, Mr. Kirsner made the suggestion to- the <br /> chairman of the board of selectmen, suggesting that in light of <br /> his long-term tenure and his dedication, he be appointed an honor- <br /> ary member of the committee . <br />
