Mr, Kirsner recommended that the vacancy of secretary of the coirmittee be discussed and placed on the agend-a for the next meeting. III- DISCU'S I N of THE TEN ACRE SITE -- LFGISLAT-ION: Mr.. Kirsner explained that the bill for the legi s la ion . had. been scheduled t be filed bar Rep. Matthew Patrick, We had beenad- vised bar Peggi Konner, the Representative' s Legal Aid, that the legislation was in the ?pules Committee. The Representative will -refer it to the Howe 9 Clerk. It will then be referred to the TX7ays and Means Committee. If the legislation should reach the Ways and Mears Committee, Mr, Kirsner recommended that a number of members of the advisory committee accompany him and attend the rating, and renew their discussion. Mr. Kirsner explained- that the only defense the- the State has set up was the economics that they have to Provide an access � road, since roads cost money, Beyond that, there should be no other costs involved other than having a deed drawn by Town Counsel , transferring title to the Ten Acre Site to the Town of Mashpee-, pending the improvement of an access road within certain given period of time, under certain conditions. Iv DISCUSSION of PROCLAMATION: Mr, Kirsner stated that Jerry Monaghan had been ars outstanding and faithful memher of the committee, and he had made an input which was of great importance to the objectives of the committee. When Terry passed. away, Mr. Kirsner made the suggestion to- the chairman of the board of selectmen, suggesting that in light of his long-term tenure and his dedication, he be appointed an honor- ary member of the committee .
