Attached to the proposed letter is a copy f the <br /> letter from the Advisory Committee to the PIA,dated 9/30106, as Drell as.a copy of the Act establishing <br /> the South cape Beach State Park Advisory Committee. <br /> Michael Cardeiro made a,notion that the Committee approve sending theP ro p osed letter to the <br /> Attorney.General's office. Lance Lambros seconded the motion. All.eppr ved. <br /> Jeri Smith will handle the railing of the letter to the Attorney Generals office. <br /> VIDEO TAPE <br /> .der Smith reported receipt of a tape fromBrendan Annett which was produced by the Waquoit Ba <br /> Reserve. The purpose of having such a tape would be to have it available for future TV coverage, or a <br /> possible public heariing# at some point down the road. The tape does not have many shots of the Souter <br /> Cape Beach belt, It is ,mostly of Waquoit Bay and Washburn Island. The tape nuns for 1minutes. <br /> Bill Martiros offered to take the tape,, view it, and then circulate it around to other members of the <br /> comms to . <br /> WHERE SHOULD WE C0. R MERE? <br /> ,fieri Smith stated that there is not,Hach the State Park AdvisoryCom ittee can do until March of 2007r <br /> after a final decision is made by the federal government regards.ng tribal recognition of the Wampa noag. <br /> Lance Lambros felt that David Kerrigan and most of his staff will still be around next spring, and <br /> therefore it would be to this committee's advantage to establish a relationship with Mr. Kerrigan and stay <br /> in touch with his office. Also, the Mate Parc Advisory Committee should ensure that they are in <br /> attendance at any future Selectmen's meetings, should the meeting agenda include discussion of <br /> issues rel ting.to the W mpanoag.interest in land acquisitions. <br /> ANNUAL REPORT To THE SELECTMEN <br /> Jeri Smith reported that she will be-preparing an annual report to the Board of Selectmen before the end <br /> of the year,'-and will plan to fviio r the format used in the past-including a review of the acti iity of the <br /> T <br />
