Michael Cardiero <br /> Gus Frederick <br /> Lance Lambros <br /> Been Lofchie <br /> Carey Murphy <br /> Lewis Newell <br /> Steve Pinard <br /> CALL To ORDER <br /> Chairman Jeralyn Smith called the meeting to order at 6:00 Ply. <br /> INTRODUCTION of NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS <br /> Jeralyn Smith introduced the two newly appointed Committee members, Steve Pinard <br /> and Lewis Newell, whose appointments were confirmed by the Board of Selectmen at <br /> the 06/16/08 Bs meeting. <br /> APROVE MINUTES of APRIL. 22, 2008 MEETING <br /> motion was made, seconded and passed to approve the minutes of the meeting held <br /> on April 22, 2008. <br /> STATUS REPORT FROM ALLAN MORRIS <br /> Jeralyn Smith presented a report prepared by Adan Morris on the status of the state <br /> Park Road Repair. Allan Morris reported that the State Park beach was forecast to open <br /> officially on June 21, 2008. There is currently a repair project on the road leading to the <br /> State Park Beach, which has closed the road until repairs are completed. The state <br /> Engineering Division has been working to get bids for work on repair of the damaged <br /> culvert in the road. A bid has been accepted, and a contractor selected. Allan's report <br /> indicated further that he is waiting for notification that there has been a notice given from <br /> the Dept. of Conservation and Recreation to the contractor selected to do the work, to <br /> proceed with the work. Once a notice has been issued to the contractor for the work to <br /> proceed, the work will be completed in 7 days, starting from the day after the notice hes <br /> been issued. <br /> Gus Frederick stated that he spoke to Brendan Annear who was expecting the road to <br /> be open on June 21, 2008. Gus further reported that Jeff Carter, Mate Waterfront <br /> Coordinator for South Cape Beach, had reported that there would be no life guards on <br /> the beach this summer. Gus will call Mr. Carter tomorrow to check on the status of <br /> lifeguards for the beach for the coming season. <br />
