*APPROVED* December 5, 2018 <br /> Capital Improvement Program Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> December 7, 2017 <br /> 5 <br /> Police Department FY2019 Budget: $208,400 <br /> Police Chief Scott Carline presented a budget of capital requests for fiscal year 2019,there are <br /> prior year obligations of$288,000 (Years 2 and 3 of 3-year lease) for the Police Department in <br /> the CIP. <br /> 10 Police Vehicles Total Funds:$144,000 <br /> 4 Police Vehicles Total Funds: 64,40 <br /> This is Year 2 of a 3 Year Lease Program (FY 18-$175,000; FY 19-$144,000; FY 20-$144,000) for <br /> the 10 Police Vehicles and Year 1 of a 3 Year Lease Program (FY 19-$64,400; FY 20-$52,000; FY <br /> 21-$52,000) for the 4 Police Vehicles. This is consistent with the plan and blueprint for replacing <br /> Police Vehicles that was put into place several years ago. The Police Department is not putting <br /> in any other Capital Requests at this time. There were no additional comments or questions <br /> made except to say the new make and model of the cruisers look great. <br /> Discussion of and Approval of the CIP for Fiscal Year 20.19 <br /> The Committee discussed the funding sources for the various GIP requests: Ambulance <br /> Receipts, Grants, Revolving Funds, Funds Available for Appropriation and the Finance Director <br /> said that all requests can be funded. Mr. Collins stated that we are in good shape but need to <br /> carefully continue to evaluate each project individually each year. Assistant Town Manager <br /> Taylor suggested that the Conservation module for the permitting software be added resulting <br /> in an $84,000 cast for the Information Technology Department's request, <br /> Discussion of Meeting with the Board of Selectmen for the CIP Public Hearin <br /> The Committee discussed whether to hold another meeting or to request that the Board of <br /> Selectmen schedule the FY 2019 Public Hearing. Chairman Collins suggested that the Public <br /> Hearing be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 during a regularly scheduled Board of <br /> Selectmen meeting. <br /> The CIP Committee agreed there was no need to hold another CIP meeting prior to that date. <br />
