Town of Mashpee <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF ASSESSORS— PUBLIC SESSION MINUTES <br /> Mashpee Town Hall —Thursday, October 18, 2018 <br /> Assessor's Office—6 p.m. <br /> Board Members Present: Also Present: <br /> Paul Andrews, Chairman Jason Streebel, Director of Assessing <br /> Gregg Fraser, Vice Chairman <br /> John Bartos, Board Member <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Andrews called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS— No public comment. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Gregg Fraser motioned to approve the Public Session minutes of August 22, 2018 as presented. <br /> John Bartos seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE: Yes-3 <br /> Roll Call Vote: Paul Andrews, yes; Gregg Fraser, yes; John Bartos, yes <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION: no executive session was held <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> • Director's Update: Revaluation timeline, State Owned Land and current <br /> office projects <br /> Director Streebel informed that Board that the Selectmen have tasked the <br /> Finance Team (Assessor, Treasurer, Finance Director) with producing multiple <br /> scenarios for future Town Septic financial impacts and options due in March. <br /> The Director also updated the Board as to the fact that the Fiscal Year 2019 <br /> assessor maps had been completed, and that for the Interim Re-Val, all Income <br /> and Expense statements and Forms of List had been data entered and analyzed <br /> for valuation. Values will be submitted to the Department of Revenue next week <br /> and that the Classification Hearing dates had been set for 11/19/18 for the <br /> Selectmen and 11/27/18 for the Water District. <br /> Director Streebel also told the Board that its' State Owned Land appeal has <br /> hearing dates set for January 8E" and 9t" at the Appellate Tax Board in Boston. <br /> - t - <br />
