I <br /> Organizational Chart <br /> Joe asked the Board members to consider the need to prepare an Organizational <br /> Chart of the torn of Mashpee personnel. <br /> Total Training <br /> The Board discussed using excess funding for total training for town employees and <br /> decided to request that the MNIA consulting group give an estimate for the cost of <br /> such training. <br /> Employee Assistance Program <br /> Joe asked for more information/history on how effective the current Town of <br /> 1 ashpee's Employee Assistance Program is. Marcia suggested that the Board get <br /> background information on hoer well employees are currently serviced. The Board <br /> discussed drug testing and counseling services provided by the Employee Assistance <br /> Program. Marcia wants to know what the major needs of the tow. are. The Board <br /> voted to continue with the current E.A.P., with some changes, such as billing, <br /> reports, and six-month tra Ings for managers. Marilyn told the Board that <br /> employees who need counseling services are referred out. The Cape Cod Employee <br /> Assistance Program handles the alcohol and drug counseling. The Board voted to <br /> ask for a report ever six months regarding numbers of those served. Marilyn will <br /> check with Bob whrit nhour about renewing current contract. If renewed, Jae <br /> would like a provision that would allow the town to be able to cancel with a three- <br /> month notice. <br /> Articles for Town Meeting <br /> The Board is requesting an open spot be left on the warrant by the Selectmen for <br /> issues involving changes that may occur after consultant from. MMA makes <br /> suggestions regarding job descriptions, salary changes, reclassification of positions, <br /> etc. <br /> Town Report <br /> Marilyn will prepare a report for the Personnel Board regarding accomplishments <br /> and upcoming priorities for the Board members to review. <br /> 2 <br />
