Joe felt <br /> i <br /> the Board should be involved in order to be sure that safety rules are adhered to and <br /> to male recommendations if necessary. Marilyn suggested that safety training, such <br /> as evacuation plans for fire alerts, should be reviewed by the Safety Committee. <br /> Marcia asked about current evacuation preparations and how they're practiced. <br /> Volunteers <br /> i <br /> Marilyn gave Board members a copy of the Town of Andover's incentive programs <br /> for senior citizens for review. Programs related to senior citizen volunteer <br /> incentives were discussed. Joe suggested free or discounted dump and beach stickers <br /> be offered to I ashpce ser Lior citizens in c chap c for their volunteer time to the <br /> torn. <br /> Quotes for Employee Assistance Program <br /> The Board will solicit to more quotes from consultants for proposals for an <br /> employee assistance program for the town before making a final decision. <br /> January 23 Board of Selectmen's Meeting <br /> Joe and Ikon will attend the Selectmen's Meeting tonight, January 23, 1995, to discuss <br /> the 19- vs 20-hour positions in the town. The Board feels that all 20--hour positions <br /> be eliminated -- a 20-hour job can be done in 19 -- thus eliminating costly benefits <br /> required with 20-hour positions. <br /> Policy Chiefs Secretary Position <br /> Twelve applicants need to be tested in math this week. Marilyn would like to test <br /> all participants at the sane time. Joe offered to assist Marilyn with the testing. <br /> Work Schedules <br /> Board discussed the various work schedules of town employees -- some full time at <br /> 37,5, some at o; pant-time hours also vary. Should Board recommend standardizing <br /> 3 <br />
