PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> MAIPLF TOWN FALL <br /> MEETING OF JULY 1* 1995 <br /> The following Members of the Personnel <br /> Beard were present, Joseph <br /> Dellgala, Chairman, Ronald Levine, Carole Dunivan Norma Kumin and <br /> MarilynFarren, Personnel Administrator- <br /> Chairman Dellagala convened the meeting at 3 :05 p,m. <br /> Brief from DeDutv Police Chief Cooper <br /> Deputy Police Chief Cooper informed the Board that he was presently <br /> inter iew ing for Special Police Officer/Reserve officer positions. <br /> These officers will be required to train 16 hours per month in <br /> blocks of 10 4 hours over 4days. This required training is ongoing for <br /> the duration of this position. The position for Special Police <br /> Officer presently holds a job description the same as that o <br /> 7 f a full <br /> time officer. . <br /> The possibility of a new job description for this <br /> position was mentioned, <br /> Interview: R. Briags. Special Police Officer <br /> Chief Cooper introduced R. Briggs to the Board and described the <br /> position he was interviewing for. He said he was interviewing- f or 1 <br /> appointment as Reservb Special Police Officer and 1 appointment as a <br /> non-paid Axilliary Police Officer. <br /> R. Briggs is presently employed full time at Babson College and part <br /> time as a dispatcher- for the town of Mashpee, <br /> Several questions were asked to R. 'Briggs including how he would <br /> handle situations pertaining to the lob h . as interviewing for. <br /> R. Briggs was. dismissed. No recommendations were made. <br /> Chief Cooper informed the Board that he is presently waiting on <br /> information regarding Craig Campbell who previously interrieed . or <br /> another full time position. <br /> [T date on Article for To Meetin - Due Aug, 1 <br /> Marilyn Farren reminded the Board that we need to act on this. Rory <br /> Le recommended that- it be submitted. Carole Dunivan moved t <br /> recommend the article for the Town Meeting. Chairman Dellgala <br /> seconded -the motion. All were in favor. <br /> Updateon M.M,. . Bill- Balance in Account . <br /> Marilyn Farren advised the Board she hadp oke with Diane and there <br /> was $2 ,000 -extra in the account and that it was good for 3 years. It <br /> was recommended that the money be used to develop an evaluation <br /> system for employees. <br />
