Enforcement hearing: DEP 43- <br />2755 - Enforcement Hearing <br /> <br />th <br />Mr. McKay stated the applicant has asked the hearing be continued until the 26 of July so his <br />attorney and engineer can attend. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith was present and reiterated that he wished to continue the hearing so his attorney and <br />engineer could attend. <br /> <br />th <br />Motion: Mr. Smith moved to continued the hearing at the request of Mr. Smith to July 26 at <br />6:09 p.m., seconded by Mr. Sweet. Vote unanimous 4-0 <br /> <br /> <br />The Agent updated the Commissioners on some recent violations that they discovered at two <br />houses side by side on Nick Trail and Clover Lane. The vegetation was mowed down on the <br />coastal bank. The same individual owns both properties and they stated the landscaper was over <br />zealous. We are still waiting to hear back after sending out the notice by certified mail. Another <br />violation was at Cove Road which abuts Pimlico Pond. This was the same situation the clearing of <br />vegetation in the buffer zone. If we don’t hear by Tuesday then we go into an enforcement order. <br /> <br />The Agent reportedly stated sadly, we have a resignation letter from Bud Shaw. He served a <br />number of years and we will accept his resignation with a plaque. <br /> <br />Tomorrow is the last workday this year for AmeriCorps. They will be doing some trail maintenance <br />at Santuit Pond and, hopefully, they will be back in the fall. <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Smith moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Sweet. Vote 4-0 Meeting adjourned <br />7:15 p.m. <br />
