<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Conservation Commission Minutes <br />Thursday, MAY 24, 2018 <br />Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Ockway Meeting Room <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Dale McKay, Brad Sweet, Bud Shaw and Tom O’Neill, <br /> <br />Also Present: Andrew McManus, Conservation Agent and Judy Daigneault, <br />Recording Secretary <br /> <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER: 5:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Chairman Dale McKay opened the meeting at 5:55 p.m. <br /> <br />PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br /> <br />Minutes: Approve May 10, 2018 Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Brad Sweet moved to approve the May 10, 2018 minutes, seconded by Bud Shaw. <br />Vote 3-0-1 with Mr. O’Neil abstaining. <br /> <br /> <br />HEARINGS: <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to place the referenced agenda topic below on the Conservation <br />Commission’s agenda by exercising the emergency meeting provisions of the Open <br />Meeting Law, seconded by Mr. Shaw. Roll Call Vote Unanimous 4-0, Mr. O’Neil, yes; Mr. <br />Shaw, yes; Mr. McKay, yes; Mr. Sweet, yes. <br /> <br />Discussion, Acceptance, and Execution of Grant of Conservation Restriction from Mashpee <br />Commons Limited Partnership <br /> <br />Tom Feronti, represented Mashpee Commons. He explained Mashpee Commons Limited <br />Partnership was requesting the approval and vote on the amended Conservation Restriction <br />document. He stated the document was previously approved in December of 2016 and June <br />2017. He noted after a State review, formatting changes were made and language about footpaths <br />were added along with a baseline report. He noted the document was reviewed by town counsel. <br /> <br />The Agent stated the Board of Selectmen has signed the document and asked if we could <br />accommodate the vote at this meeting and after approval by the Commission, it will be sent back to <br />the State for signage. <br /> <br /> <br />
