Motion: Mr. Sweet moved on behalf of the applicant to continue the hearing to August 9, <br />2018 at 6:06 p.m., seconded by Chad Smith. Vote 4-0 unanimous. <br /> <br />6:12 Richard D. & Lisa M. McHale, 36 Wilsons Grove. Proposed hardscape and landscape <br />modifications. RDA <br /> <br />Resource Area: LSCSF, buffer to Coastal Dune <br /> <br />Steve Leonard, landscaper, represented the applicant. He said the proposed project is to install 11’ <br />paver circular patio and seashell driveway. The Agent the Commission would require a revised plan <br />or a written permission from the engineer to use their plan. The Agent reviewed the photos of the <br />area and noted most of the area was undisturbed. The landscape and hardscape modifications will <br />not have any adverse impact to the coastal dune. The project meets the performance standards. <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Sweet moved a Negative Determination, seconded by Mr. Smith 4-0 <br /> <br />6:15 Stuart J. & Leslie S. Frank, Little Neck Lane. Proposed demolition/reconstruction of <br />stairs, pier, ramp and float. NOI <br /> <br />The Chair opened the meeting and noted there was a lack of quorum for this hearing as one of the <br />commissioner’s have an interest in this project. <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Sweet moved at the request of the applicant to continue the hearing to August 9 <br />at 6:09 p.m., seconded by Mr. Smith. Vote 4-0 <br /> <br />6:18 Kenneth J. & Robin J. Nardini, 81 Waterway. Proposed addition of garage, hardscape <br />modifications, construction of a retaining wall and septic system upgrade. RDA <br /> <br />Resource Area: LSCSF <br /> <br />Tom Bunker, BSS Design, represented the applicant. He reviewed the existing plan and proposed <br />project. The owners are proposing to add a garage addition to the house which will be located <br />outside of the flood zone, enlarge the driveway and upgrade the septic system, the rear deck will be <br />removed and replaced with a patio. The Agent reviewed the pictures of the existing property. He <br />noted the trees that are tagged to be removed. Board of Health application is currently under <br />review. He said the plan shows what is to remain, 15% must remain in a naturally vegetated stated <br />and that performance standard has been met. <br /> <br />No comments from the public <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Smith moved a Negative Determination, seconded by Mr. Sweet. Vote <br />unanimous 4-0 <br /> <br />6:21 Steven F. & Donna M. McDonald, 126 Wading Place Road. Proposed <br />demolition/reconstruction of single-family dwelling, installation of swimming pool, spa and <br />connecting boardwalk, septic system upgrade, tree removal and native vegetation plantings. <br /> <br />Resource Area: LSCSF, Coastal Bank, Salt Marsh <br /> <br />Tom Bunker, BSS Design, represented the applicants. The project consists of razing the existing <br />house and constructing a new four bedroom house with an upgraded septic system. The house will <br />be roughly in the same position near the road but does cover a larger area. Also proposed is a <br />swimming pool, patio, lawn areas and walls. About 1,200 square feet of native vegetation behind <br />the proposed garage must be removed but about 2,724 square feet of native vegetation will be <br />planted to achieve the 30% native plant coverage. He noted the two areas where these plantings <br />will be placed. He also noted the area of the proposed septic system. All roof runoff will be directed <br />to drywells and the limit of work will be maintained for the duration of the construction to prevent <br />runoff and siltation of the wetland. <br /> <br />
