3 <br /> Mashpee Board of-Sewer Commissioners <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> June 21,2011 at 7 p.m* <br /> Mashpee Town Hai, Selectmen's Meeting Room . <br /> Present: Chairman ar Worn Fudala, Oskar Klenert, Jack 1 alarl ey, mar Gurnee <br /> Absent: Clerk Ralph Marcell i, Joe Lyons <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was called to order t TOO p.m. by Chairman Fudala. <br /> APPROVAL F MINUTES May 17,, 2011 <br /> Mr.Klenert made a motion to approve the meeting minutes. Mr. Malarkey seconded the <br /> 'notion. <br /> 11r. Klenert'inquired whether a letter was sent to the'Town Manager and Board of Selectmen <br /> regarding the hiring process for the part time Sewer Commission Administrator. Mr. Fudala <br /> responded that a copy of the May 24 memo was i�Commissioners' packets and that n response <br /> had been received. There had also been no response to the May 17th memo requesting <br /> i replacements for open positions on both the Concession and the CAC. Mr. Kl enert inquired <br /> whether an ad had been placed in the paper and Mr. Fudala responded that he had seen no <br /> advertising. <br /> All voted unanimously. <br /> AGENDA.ITEMS <br /> Status of GHD Tasks <br /> -Regina Villa Associates Public Outreach'work-There was no additional work completed. <br /> -GHD Site Testing Status-'A technical report asero Wed to Commissioners sun arx ing the <br /> field study that was completed. Jew Gregg.reported that a hydro-geologist would be hired to run <br /> the mounding analysis. Mr* Gregg also reported that he would set up a meeting with DEP to <br /> discuss work that has been completed and future needs lathe site were to be used for discharge. <br /> Mr. Gurnee inquired about testing specifics and Mr. Gregg.provided additional details. <br /> -M PA Notice of Project Change-Ori hold until the Sewer Commission Administrator hired. <br /> -Discussion of GHD Proposals on Next S enario "-Mr. Gregg provided <br /> presentation as an update regarding the newt VVNW Scenarios. Mr. Gregg stated that the unified <br /> database, along with the Sever Commission"'s map, was utilized to balance the flogs and <br /> nitrogen loads in order to run additional model runs. There has been no meeting with MEP as of <br /> yet. <br /> Mr. Gregg outlined the general approach, noting that different towns, such as Barnstable, <br /> Sandwich, and Falmouth, are at different stages in their wastewater planning.
