4 Minutes of combined Meeting of <br /> Mashpee Design Review Committee and <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Commit e <br /> Held Tuesday, dune 7, 201 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Design Review Members Present: Walter Yarosh, and Robert Nelson. <br /> Plan Review Members Present: <br /> Charlie Maintanis, Local Inspector <br /> Joel Clifford, Fire Inspector <br /> Tom Fudala, Town Planner <br /> Mike Benton, Police Department <br /> Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> Catherine Laurent, DPW Director <br /> Charlie Maintanis called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m. <br /> 64 Hilltop Road <br /> Robert and Grace Vamey <br /> Legalize existing accessoapartment <br /> Robert and Grace Varney appeared. Charlie Maintanis said he has already been through the <br /> apartment. Charlie questioned means of egress. He said as it now stands a set of stairs go up to the <br /> first floor and there 'is another door through the garage which they would dedicate just to the <br /> a artrnent. Charlie's concern is that the 2 exits are fairly closet but they do have an escape window. <br /> Catherine Laurent said her only concern is paring...they do.have the req uired..parking.. <br /> Corner is furnace room <br /> House built in ' g-'go. <br /> Essentially adding a bedroom. <br /> ,noel Clifford said smoke/carbon monoxide detectors not shorn on Plan. Applicants said they <br /> do have them. <br /> CONCLUSION: Joint inspection to be done by Building Depaent and Fire Depa ent. <br /> Glen Harrington said septic inspection needed to be cone. Applicants have ZBA meeting <br /> scheduled for tomorrow. Bob Nelson said if ZBA approves they can make approval <br /> contingent on Building Department, Fire Department and Board of Health inspections <br /> approved. <br /> Motion: Glen Harrington motioned to recommend approval of the accessory apartment <br /> contingent upon septic inspection and Building Depart ent/Fire D par hent inspections are <br /> approved. Torn Fudala seconded the motion; and it was passed unanimously. <br /> 352 Mashpee Neck Road <br /> Barbara Milton <br /> Le aline existing accesso a artrent <br /> Barbara Milton appeared. Charlie Maintanis said this was originally a water damage situation but <br /> during inspection we realized it also had a kitchenette. Joel Clifford said he has been through the <br /> whole house so has Charlie contingent on us getting this corrected as a legal accessory apartment. <br /> Charlie said there is plenty of parking; but Catherine Laurent noted it is not indicated on the Plan. <br />
