FDIC <br /> Minutes <br /> October 24, 2011 <br /> Report on fleeting with Town Counsel:, <br /> Discussion of RPP for Possible I evelor) ment Agreement for the Town-owned <br /> Parcel on Commercial Street: <br /> In consultation with Town Counsel, it was recor needed the RFP be specific ,i <br /> terms of use. However, it was advised the document should be less specific i <br /> terms of the RFP outline for the proposed Assisted Living Housing Project. <br /> It was noted the EDIC in its infancy stage lacks resources with respect to <br /> available revenue for appropriation. Therefore,the successful developer would <br /> most likely be.required to provide assistance to the FDIC for costs associated to <br /> legal acid design review. The matter of FDIC staff support was also given <br /> consideration. It was agreed the Town of Mashpe and Cape Cod Concession <br /> would be consulted with regards to providing.staff services for the upcoming <br /> project. <br /> Discussion followed with regards to the Commercial Street property as it relates <br /> to planning and zoninig implications for the proposed project. It was agreed the <br /> Town Plnncr would be invited to attend the next FDIC meeting to further discuss <br /> applicable regulations relative to assisted living facilities at the subject 6.2 acre <br /> site location. <br /> ERIC Board member Bob Walsh indicated he would extend his services to further <br /> fine-tune the RFP in conjunction with the Office of the Town Manager. To assist <br /> Mr. Walsh, FDIC Board member lino Mitrol ostas offered to work on the <br /> infrastructure component. It was determined that amendments to the document <br /> would be highlighted for ease of review and forwarded to Town Counsel for legal <br /> review via the Office of the Town Manager. <br /> In accordance with the Project outline, the RFP is scheduled to be released for <br /> distribution in January or February with the anticipation the developer would be <br /> selected Prior to the May 2012 Ton Meeting. <br /> In.other utters, it was agreed that Town Counsel would be consulted regarding <br /> obtaining a tax identification number. Liability insurance coverage for FDIC <br /> officers was also discussed and will.be reviewed at the next meeting. <br />
