BOARD MMS <br /> Chairman's Report-Chairman Way referenced a-dry meter to the Editor regarding Mashpee <br /> Commons. Updates to the email address will be made and any additional suggestions should be <br /> forwarded to the Chair. The letter is intended as a means to inform the public where the Planning <br /> Board stands with review of Mashpee Commons and provide the public with details about the <br /> project as well as provide a point of contact for comments. Mr. I ooharian recommended the <br /> addition o graphic along with the letter in order to better catch the eye of the reader. The Chair <br /> and Mr. FudaJa will identify an appropriate chic_ <br /> The Chair reported that she would be unavailable to attend the April 20 Planning Board meeting <br /> and asked Mr. Ba acini to chair the meeting. Mr. Petersen is also unavailable. The Chair will <br /> contact Mr. Mullin to ensure that there is a quorum at the meeting and recommended haat the <br /> agenda be kept light. lir. Fudala shed that the tate would be the public hearing meeting for the <br /> zoning.articles and it was deerrnnined that they be considered for April 6. <br /> Reports <br /> Selectmen Liaison-No report at this time. <br /> Environrneabd oversight Committee-Mr. Petersen reported that the EOC met last week <br /> and discussed the completed draft of the Blue Book as well as the grant for remediation of <br /> Santuit Pond, which has been tuned down. <br /> Design Review Committee-Mr. Koohafian reported ttat Design Review met yesterday and <br /> included discussion about the building of a rock wall in front of Ch pram Cole& Gleason <br /> on <br /> and the need to move their sign forward due to the fact that visitors have been unable to <br /> locate the wilding. It was also agreed that the landscaping would be returned to its natural <br /> state. In addition, Johnny's Tune&Lube will be leasing out its pumping services and pians <br /> to increase the pumps to four instead of three. The pumps will only be accessed from the <br /> side, closest to the building, and the tams will be replaced offering expanded capacity. <br /> Additional approvals are needed andAu-ther information regarding fire truck access is also <br /> needed. There was also concern expressed regarding retail sales at the location, which is not <br /> permissible due to zoning in the area. Mr. Iooharian also reported that a resident sought <br /> approval for a basement apartment, which was granted as long as a second door for escape <br /> was available and smoke detectors were upgraded per order of the fire department. <br /> Community Preservation Committee-No meeting <br /> Historic District Commission-No meeting <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Discussion of Town Consultants and Economic Development/Fiscal Impact Study for <br /> M hp a Commons DA <br /> Board members were provided with the draft version from the last meeting and Mr. Petersen's <br /> markup version. Chairman Waygan confirmed that-the scope of services has been finalized with <br /> 1r. Storrs but that determination for whether the document will be an RFP or an RFQ is yet to be <br /> determined by the planning Board. Mr. Petersen's edits do not change the scope but adds some <br /> clarification and consistency. The Chair supported Mr. Petersen's markups. Mr. Petersen <br /> questioned the need for town background information for the scope but Chairman Waygan <br /> expressed interest in including the information because it serves as a mmm ry of'Mashpee. <br />
