There was discussion about the variety of playground facilities <br /> now available, integrating playgrounds,with a gazebo type facility that could offer musical <br /> performances. Mr.-Balzarini emphasized that, as.the t wn.c .nter,Mashpee Commons must <br /> provide opportunities for all members of the Town. Mr. Kooharian added that reafional <br /> facilities would dramaticatly increase the value of the lotion with little expense. Chairman <br /> vaygan added that an agreement a u.ld be developed allowing Mashpee Commons usage of the <br /> area. <br /> Mr. Kooharian also suggested a jogging path along the trails featuring small green areas to allow <br /> additional fitness, such as sit-ups,to create a more enjoyable experience- Them was discussion <br /> about-the limited.availability of green areas in the existing plan. ]fir. Mr. Kooharian emphasized <br /> that Mashpee needed other activities beyond high end shopping. The Chair also noted the <br /> importance ofacqum' 'n properties with CPA money if CPA money was to be used to purchase <br /> equipment. <br /> It was-determined that-the ideas discussed would be shared with Mr. Storrs. The Chair noted that <br /> the Cape Cod Commission would be looking far these kinds of additions.
