Each year, this becomes a <br /> critical staffing issue as these are essential positions to the overall functioning of the <br /> school. <br /> The following explanations for each grant will demonstrate the impact on student services. <br /> NUMBER I <br /> If the Quality Full-Day Kindergarten rgarten (grant is not renewed, the following results: <br /> 0 Kindergarten Accreditation will be lost <br /> Eight .5 paraprofessional positions will be lost <br /> Classrooms will each be left with a .5 paraprofessional only 1 day coverage) <br /> • In kindergarten, there will be less leaming and more crowd control. <br /> One .6 Early Childhood Coordinator position will be lost <br /> A few years ago, this position was a way f givingm support t Combs rather than <br /> an assistant pnnelpal position <br /> There will be no Countdown to Kindergarten rten rogram <br /> • There will be no networking with local preschools <br /> Kindergarten prescreening program will be delayed <br /> f . <br /> Early identification of creeds and interventions will be delayed <br /> Kindergarten placement will be delayed considerably <br /> • Kindergarten registration process will be effe ted <br /> • arent cruardian adult education and parenting ppoi-tunities will cease <br /> 0 Staff professional development will be drastically cert or nonexistent <br /> 0 Community outreach will be severely affected <br /> eet <br /> All curriculum and transition committee work for a. seamless cum ultim and <br /> instruction will cease � <br /> 0 Focal and state recognition for quality pro or ramming will be lost <br /> • One .5 Ki arten'Teacher Position will be lost <br /> This results in a half-time position while full-day K requires a frill-time teacher <br /> 0 Not replacing this position wx11 increase class size considerably.
