In summary,y, Qis strictly for kindergarten. Improving Teacher Quality is for level <br /> kindergarten rgarten though grade tree. Community Partnership addresses preschool and <br /> community. Title I services grades one through t -ee and :early Childhood allows for a <br /> part-tine team chair in special education for preschool. Thus, you can see all grants <br /> sicynificantly affect the Coombs School-level. The impact,on services-is crippling.. .. <br /> Each year, much time and energy is spent in "what if" scenarios with budget and <br /> scheduling. Placing essential salaried positions and services under grant funding creates <br /> great uncertainty in the Coombs building armuall . W request that Mashpee provide, in <br /> appropriation, for necessary positions to deliver continued quality educational services. <br /> There is no doubt that Mashpee is coy naitted to the youth ofits community; every of its <br /> youngest members. Since the inception of this early childhood school four- years ago, <br /> great deal of work has been established for families n school to worktogether. We have <br /> achieved quality educational programs. We lave worked in all the domains required by <br /> accreditation. We have even been recognized on the state level for such programming. <br /> We proudly tout the torch of the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs fi- m the <br /> National Association for the Education of Young Children. This is a phenomenal <br /> achievement! <br /> We all believe in each and every child. We all believe in a strong foundation. We all <br /> believe in our responsibility in the development of each child. In f nn r year's, elementary <br /> schools in Mashpee have willingly jade considerable sacrifices for other necessary <br /> educational endeavors for the Mashpee district. Today, we ask you to support lashpee's <br /> foundation. As a staff, we desire to keep this foundation intact and ever strong.
