Public Access: <br /> Tom Smith was asked if he could remove support boards in the public access area <br /> next to his house. He said that he would to allow foot traffic access to the water for <br /> fishing. <br /> New Business: <br /> Tom Smith Aquaculture Project: <br /> The commission made a motion to accept the application as complete. <br /> The Waterways Commission also accepted his application as complete on <br /> May 10th 2018 0930 hrs. The harbormaster informed the commission that <br /> one mooring in the area will be moved to another location in the vicinity at <br /> the request of the mooring holder. Application now only has parcel B <br /> included in the description. There will be no parcel A or a Floating <br /> Upweller System (FLUPSY) at the dock. Parcel A was eliminated to <br /> expedite the application process. Without parcel A the applicant will not <br /> need engineered dock plans. <br /> Motion: Thomas made a motion to accept Tom Smith's Aquaculture License <br /> application as complete. Marques seconded the motion. All voted unanimously in <br /> favor. <br /> Daniels Island Family Shelyi-shingArea: <br /> Will be discussed at another meeting. The previously used access point is <br /> no longer available to the public because it was determined to be private <br /> land. Selectman will have to alter the shellfish area designation due to lack <br /> of an alternate access point. <br /> Corey Hendricks request to join Shellfish Commission: <br /> Cory Hendricks the Mashpee Wampanoag's Shellfish Grant Manger was <br /> recommended for appointment to the shellfish commission. <br /> Motion: Marques made a motion to recommend Cory Hendricks as committee <br /> member. Everett seconded the motion.
