Locust Street Sign Co <br /> Requests: Add new 314"x 14.07"x 76.75" = 75" = 7.49 sq. ft. double sided sign <br /> to existing sign. <br /> Mike Mendoza called the meeting to order at 8:32 am. <br /> Mr. Mike McGowan with Locust Street Sign Company in Falmouth, MA represented the <br /> applicant for an adjustment to the sign located at Fit Company for Women. He is proposing <br /> a double sided sign on the existing posts, and the smaller sign that exists below. He <br /> provided the committee with a rendering of the existing sign with the minor changes to the <br /> lettering. The smaller portion of the sign that exists below the Fit Company is a different <br /> business. <br /> Mike polled the members asking their opinion on the color and lettering. The committee <br /> had a discussion and wanted to make sure the color was consistent throughout the total <br /> sign. <br /> Joe suggested that the street number be located on the sign. The committee all agreed. <br /> Josh asked the applicant if he could suggest to the owner that the wording be changed to <br /> "Women's Club Only" instead of Cape Cod's Only Women's Club. <br /> Miles suggested that the teal color be pinstriped along the outside border of the lettering. <br /> There were no more comments. <br /> Mr. Furbush made a motion to accept the changes to the signage along with all the <br /> suggestions made, such as the street number on the top portion of the sign, the potential <br /> changing of the wording, and to match the colors from the top of the sign to the new sign, <br /> and teal pin-stripping along the edges. <br /> Mr. Cummings seconded. No further discussion. All were in favor. <br /> 1 <br />
