Mashpee Waterways Commission Minutes <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Minutes of the October 16, 2018 Meeting <br /> Vice Chairman Don MacDonald called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Present: Don MacDonald, Don Barton, Stan Healy,Tim Leedham <br /> Absent: Al Wickel, Ken Bates,Steve Mone <br /> Don MacDonald made a motion to approve the minutes of September 11,2018 and was 2nd by Stan <br /> Healy,and unanimously approved. <br /> Communications and Correspondence: <br /> Correspondence and documentation were received on three pier and ramp projects that have been <br /> proposed for review. The projects are at 4 Keeian Way (Stairway/ramp/float), 170 Captains Row(Pier, <br /> Ramp/float) and 9 Keel Way(Pier/Ramp/f=loat). It was noted that the distance relative to abutters was <br /> on 4 Kellan Way met requirements. However,with the absence of both the Harbormaster and DNR, no <br /> other comment was provided on these applications. <br /> Old Business <br /> Harbormaster Report: <br /> No report presented at meeting. Harbormaster in training <br /> DNR Director/Shellfish Constable Report <br /> No report presented at meeting. DNR and Shellfish Constable at other scheduled event. <br /> Committee_Reports: <br /> Mashpee/Wakeby Lake and Johns Pond—No report <br /> Popponesset Bay Area- No report <br /> Waquoit Bay Area—No report <br /> Water Quality Update—Don MacDonald noted that the water collection program effort was successfully <br /> completed this year and he thanked all the volunteers who contributed. <br /> Barnstable County Coastal Resources Committee Update—No report <br /> Sewer Committee Update Report--No report, no recent meetings <br /> Public Access Update: <br /> Don MacDonald commented that the yokes on the Great River Ramp installation had been adjusted to <br /> prevent possible failure. <br /> Waterways Improvement Plan and Dredging: <br />
