COUNCIL ON AGING MINUTES <br /> MEETING SEPTEMBER 12, 2018 <br /> MASHPEE SENIOR CENTER <br /> Present: Council on Aging Members: David Egel, Marijo Gorney, Jean Noussee, <br /> Virginia McIntyre, Mary Gaffney, Council on Aging Director Lynne Waterman and <br /> Outreach Coordinator Lauren Haddad <br /> Absent: Norah McCormick <br /> Chairman David Egei opened the meeting at 8:35 a.m. <br /> Lauren Haddad, Outreach Coordinator, introduced herself and gave her background <br /> She noted she began her duties on September 6. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: August 8, 2018 <br /> Motion: Jean Noussee moved to approve the August 8, 2018 minutes, seconded <br /> by Virginia McIntyre. Vote unanimous 5-0 <br /> Public Comment— None <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Director's Report <br /> The Director distributed her report for the month of August. She highlighted she met <br /> with several leaders of various ongoing activities. She met with a possible new <br /> instructor for a poetry session. She represented the Mashpee Council on Aging at the <br /> Police Department's Annual National Night Out and noted that all special events during <br /> the month were well attended. <br /> The Director stated the Mashpee Council on Aging received a new van from the Cape <br /> Cod Regional Transit Authority. <br /> The Director continued to assume the responsibilities of the Outreach Coordinator <br /> during August. She noted the Activity Coordinator resigned in August and the position <br /> will be posted by the Town which is a 19 hour per weep position funded by the formula <br /> grant. She thanked the Administrative Secretary who assisted during the Director's <br /> vacation. The Director completed the Administrative Secretary's evaluation. <br />
