Town-wide Stormwater Management Plan: Assess mentlMitigation of Santuit <br /> Pond <br /> Mr. York said the Feds funded rebuilding the berm and dam systems, kicked out the <br /> State Engineer, designed it and all the water goes thru the herring run which doesn't <br /> work and now in order to make it work they put boards in and the pond levels are about <br /> a foot higher than it should be. The Conservation Agent has the legal authority to <br /> manage the pond level along with the State and we are working on ibuilding boards with <br /> screens and letting the water drain thru the town bog system. We need to lower the <br /> water level and we are working on that. <br /> Pond and Estuary Water Quality Monitoring: Update <br /> REPORTS <br /> Conservation Department Report. No Updates <br /> Land Stewards Program: Update <br /> Interactive Trail Mapping: Update <br /> Herring Run Fish Ladder Improvements: Herring Counts: <br /> Vehicle Damage to and Dumping on Conservation Lands: <br /> Quashnet River Restoration/Realignment Project: Update <br /> Farley Bog Restoration: Update <br /> Childs River Restoration <br /> Other <br /> Mr. McKay reported on the Clean Up of John's Pond went very well. The 4 Wheeler <br /> Club went out, stayed over night and cleaned up the area. There was a lot of junk <br /> removed that has been there for years. <br /> Motion: Rick York moved to adjourn, seconded by Ashley Fisher. Vote <br /> unanimous 4-0 Adjourn 7:25 p.m. <br />
