Bond has been rejected by the CPC Committee. The subcommittee is looping to <br /> reduce the price and looking at a location which would require a larger span bridge, <br /> different materials and construction. The subcommittee is planning a site visit to come <br /> up with another design and funding options. The Chair stated the subcommittee will <br /> meet 5:30 before the EOC meeting downstairs every month so if anyone is interested <br /> they are welcome to attend. He noted this bridge is an important part of the Greenway <br /> project. There was a lengthy discussion on the placement and construction of the <br /> bridge. Mr. McKay and Mr, Hoppensteadt expressed their interest in attending the site <br /> visit. <br /> r <br /> ACTION ITEMS UPDATE <br /> I ashpee WMP <br /> Mashpee Nutrient Control Bylaw: Update on AG Approval — No Update <br /> Estuary Restoration/Shellfish Propagation: Update <br /> Ashley Fisher stated they are working on gearing up for next year. They plan on <br /> ordering 10 million quahog seeds. They have 5 floating upweller systems being built <br /> and have acquired 3 upweller systems from Falmouth at no cost to the tern. . <br /> Ashley also noted they will be hiring 6 part time people for the summer. <br /> IIUTA's with other towns: DRI I I eview; Update — No Update <br /> Planning for severs: connections with private sewers: Update <br /> Rick York stated Torn Fudala is working on the funding for the treatment plant. It's all <br /> part of the comprehensive plan. <br /> Town-wide stormwater Management Plan: Assess ment/Miti gation of santuit <br /> Pond <br /> Rick `fork stated the bloom finally subsided at Santuit Fond and finally died back. The <br /> prediction is next year we will be back to natural conditions again as long as we don't <br /> have a significant rain event. The Chair stated he will be working on information and <br /> recommendations on how to manage the runoff to the pond to be distributed to the <br /> homeowners,in the area. <br />
