Pollinator Gardens: Update <br /> Katelyn reported the general maintenance of the existing gardens at Pickerel, <br /> Community Garden and Jehu is going well as well as the Diana Lund Memorial garden. <br /> They added 7 crap apple tree and will add viburnum bushes to the Santuit Pond parking <br /> area. The Friends of the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge may receive funds to <br /> expand the pollinator gardens in town <br /> Land Stewards Program: Update <br /> The Conservation Department will host a one day a week intern throughout the summer <br /> to help promote this program. They will be hosting an AmeriCorps Individual Placement <br /> with the Department of Natural Resources starting this fall. The rest of the AmeriCorps <br /> season will host a few more work days to clean up trail steps at Santuit Pond Preserve <br /> in addition to general maintenance. <br /> Interactive Trail Mapping: Update <br /> No Update <br /> Vehicle Damage to and Dumping on Conservation Lands: Update <br /> They hosted a large cleanup of Johns Pond on April 28 as part of the Great <br /> Massachusetts Clean Up. They partnered with Mohawk 4x4 Adventures Off Roading <br /> Club, Zoe's Pizza, and Ron's excavating to get the piles of trash out. It was successful <br /> and created more interest in the Land Stewards Program. <br /> She noted they cannot access the trail cameras at this time. <br /> Quashnet River Restoration/Realignment Project: Update <br /> No Update <br /> Farley Bog Restoration: Update <br /> No Update <br /> ADJOURNMENT: NEXT MEETING <br /> Motion: Mr. McKay moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Cummings Vote <br /> unanimous 4-0 Adjourn 7:35 p.m. <br />
