ACTION ITEMS UPDATE <br /> Mashpee Greenway Re-design of and Funding for the Quashnet River Footbridge — No <br /> Update <br /> MCGAC: Update on Garden Clean-up: New Garden Design: CPC Funding. <br /> The Chair reported Mashpee Garden Advisory Committee has submitted an application to the <br /> CPC for funding for the Community Garden re-design. EOC has sent a letter of support to <br /> CPC. <br /> Mashpee CWMP: <br /> DNR Estuary Restoration/Shellfish Propagation: Update <br /> Rick York stated the quahog seeds have been planted. The Oyster season is Open from <br /> November 1 to March 31. <br /> • IMA's with other towns: DRI Review: Update -- No Update <br /> • Planning for Sewers: Connections with Private Sewers: Update from Andrew <br /> Gottlieb — No Update <br /> • Mashpee Nutrient Control Bylaw: Update <br /> The Chair stated the bylaw has been approved by the Attorney General and he is waiting for <br /> town counsel's opinion as whether or not the bylaw has to be approved by the Cape Cod <br /> Commission. He will check with town counsel again. <br /> Town-wide Stormwater Management Plan (including Santuit Pond) Update <br /> Rick York stated he has been appointed to the Stormwater Management Committee but they <br /> haven't met as of yet. <br /> DNR and MEC (PALS) Pond & Estuary Water Quality Monitoring: Update <br /> Rick York stated the bloom in Santuit Pond has subsided which may be good news for next <br /> year, <br /> REPORTS <br /> Conservation Department Report: <br /> Herring Run Fish Ladder Improvements: Herring Count Program w. APCC: Update <br /> Katelyn Cadoret stated she is working with Americorps to review the other towns approach to <br /> their herring count program. She would like to pursue the tagging of the herring as they <br /> come out of the pond to see baseline line data. Americorps is coming to do their annual <br /> herring run maintenance. <br /> Pollinator Gardens <br /> She removed the boxes and put them in the shed and removed a lot of grasses and replaced <br /> them with different flowering species. <br /> Land Stewards Program: Update <br /> They are coming up with projects especially around trash and how to recycle to get the public <br /> involved. <br /> Vehicle Damage to and Dumping on Conservation Lands: Update <br /> Not a lot of issues at this time. <br />
