There was discussion regarding the <br /> plans that originally provided 13 affordable units in 2016, which was reduced to 7 and then further reduced to <br /> units for 2016, Three additional units should be available by May 2017. Mr. Isbitz stated that they did a good <br /> job at offering similar quality and standard for the market units and affordable units, though disappointment was <br /> expressed regarding the number of applicants on their list to be eligible for the apartments. HAC had been <br /> recommended as a source for seeking eligible applicants but Mashpee Commons sought out the services of an <br /> off Cape company. Mr. Isbitz added that it was beneficial to have a conversation with Mashpee Commons <br /> regarding the Town's reliance on them to help meet the goals set by the Affordable Mousing Plan of 3 2 units per <br /> year to meet Mashpee"s 10% requirement by 2023, Mr. Taylor reported that the Town Manger had also been in <br /> contact to offer the Town"s assistance to facilitate the master plan, Mr, Isbitz had inquired about Mashpee <br /> Commons' Sources &Uses, to which John Connell seemed unaware. Mr. Isbitz noted that it would be required <br /> for DHCD approval through the 40B process, adding that the ZBA would also need to be in possession of the <br /> document. Mr. Taylor recommended that Mr. Isbitz spear with the Town Planner. There was additional <br /> conversation regarding the benefits of Mashpee Commons to the Torn of Mashpee. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> EDUCATION/MARKETING <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Conflict of Interest-The Chair distributed information regarding the online test that needs to be taken <br /> every other year. The certificate must be provided to Human Resources, <br /> Iliserirninatot-y Harassment Policy-Committee members signed the acknowledgement of receipt <br /> forms. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> MEETING'DING ADJOIN NT <br /> The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, March 7 at 6:30 p.rn. <br /> Mr. Johnson made a motion to adjourn,, Mr; Willard �eeonded the motion.
