The Chair stated that 5 of the 16 units were deeded affordable. He <br /> believed that one unit was lost due to a.foreclosure a few years ago. Affordable units and the affordable <br /> housing rate would be negatively impacted if another affordable deed was lost. Mr. Isbitz inquired about the <br /> homeowner's request and the Chair responded that despite working with the Housing Assistance Corporation, <br /> she stated that she was unable to find an affordable housing buyer. There was consensus that it would be a poor <br /> precedent to allow someone to purchase an affordable hone at a below market price, then sell it at a market <br /> rate. The Chair suggested that someone from ICAC attend the B A hearing. <br /> Reorganization of Affordable Housing Committee-Reorganization of the Committee would occur at <br /> the next meeting on July I 1 at 6:30 p.m. The Committee will nominate a Chair, Vice Chair and Clerk. <br /> EDU ATIo TING <br /> None at this time <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Town Resident Frances Madden Follow Tip-lilts. Madden had been in contact with a number of <br /> officials of the Town and the Chair has been In contact with her to assist with her concerns, Ms. Madden has <br /> eexperienced life changes and has expressed concern regarding her ab'lity to pay for her hone. The chair <br /> p � <br /> directed her to speak with the Housing Assistance Corporation and confirmed that she had also leen in contact <br /> with the Mashpee Housing Authority and the Senior Center, but had not made any headway. <br /> Affordable Housing Map-It was noted that Mashpee Commons would be introducing- a neer master <br /> plan, <br /> due to fundingconcerns, which could impact and possibly reduce the anticipated affordable housing units. <br /> Mr. Isbitz commented that if D14CD were a party to the Ch. 40B agreements, they would have to approve <br /> significant changes to the project's master plan. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> MEETING ADJOURNMENT <br /> The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, July 11 at 63 o p.m, <br /> Mr. Willard made a motion to adjourn.
