Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> March 2 2017 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS & oRRESPo DL E <br /> Allowable Spending Purposes of CPA.: <br /> It was agreed the chart relative to Community Preservation Fund Allowable Spending Purposes <br /> would be disseminated to members of the Community Preservation Conunittee. <br /> Communication from the Town of Scituate re: ro osed.amendment to CPA to allow <br /> the purchase of non-motorized water-vehicles to be used e elusive1for towns or ored <br /> recreational programs and activities: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Town of Scituate dated February 10, 2017 regarding a <br /> proposed amendment to the CPA that would allow the purchase of non-motorized water vehicles <br /> to be used exclusively for town-sponsored recreation programs and activities. <br /> The CPC agreed this type of project is not the intent of the CPA Act. In addition,the CPC is <br /> respectful of the opinion of the Community Preservation Coalition that the CPA is precluded by <br /> law from funding this request. The Community Preservation Committee indicated that a follow- <br /> up letter would he submitted to the Town of Scituate indicating ll ashpee's position to tale no <br /> action on the proposal. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> roval and Ratification of Invoices for Payment: <br /> Great liver Boat Ramp Improvement project - $14,126.36 <br /> Great River Boat Ramp Improvement Project- $1,809.00 <br /> Community Preservation Coalition.Annual Dues- $4,350 <br /> Town Counsel Services— 3 <br /> Town Counsel Services - $765 <br /> Edward Baker Boat lamp at Pirates Cove- $1,109.13 <br /> Santuit Fond.Preserve- $5,829 <br /> Motion made by Dist waygan to approve and ratify the above referenced invoices for <br /> payment. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Larkin* <br /> VOTE* Unanimous. -o* <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr.Halpern,yes Mr. Larkin,yes Mrs. Thayer,yes <br /> Ms. way an,yes Mr. Hyde,yes Mr. Pizzo,yes <br /> Opposed, none <br />
