The site; 400 MainStreet/Route 130 Mashpee is the location
of the Community Gardens,a project which was previously funded by the CPC in October of
2009. The community garden site has not been successful. There has been little interest in the
gardens. The unused bed areas are maintained by the DPW to avoid unsightly overgrowth.
After consulting Town Counsel with respect to the site previously purchased by the Land Bank
and with CPC mor es to construct a community garden, there are no issues ofconcern for the
location of the Picleball Court at this site location.
