PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> ASHP E TOWN MALL <br /> MEETING OF AUGUST 21, l <br /> The following members of the Personnel Board were present, Chairman <br /> Joseph Dellaala, Carole Dunivan, Norma Kmin <br /> Also present were Bob 6 hri tenour, Executive Secretary, Marilyn <br /> Farren, Personnel Administrator and Grecs Taylor, Director of Public <br /> Works. <br /> Chairman Della s l a convened the meeting at 3 :10 p.m.' <br /> Rgqpest from Boh Whritenour,__Executive Secretor <br /> Bob Whritenour, Executive Secretary and two clerical union <br /> negotiators made the following request of the Personnel Board. They <br /> requested that the Personnel Board review job descriptions of 3 union <br /> positions; Administrative Secretary to the Town Planner,, <br /> Administrative Secretary to the Board of Health and Public Safety <br /> Dispatcher from Service Employees International Union S. .I. . This <br /> .information has been requested with a due elate of September 5. 19950 <br /> The Personnel Board agreed to provide the information to the <br /> Executive Secretary and two negotiators by the requested date. <br /> Ace tance cif Penson a Board Minutes <br /> After a brief discussion with Greg Taylor, the following decision was <br /> made. Norma Kumin moved to accept the Personnel Board minutes with <br /> the following corrections; that the word limited 11 rep Iace 111acked�� <br /> with regards comments on experience in the interview of Richard <br /> Hawryluk. In addition, that the recommendation to the Board of <br /> Selectmen reflect "after careful cons ideratii on -and per the clause in <br /> union contract for D.P.W. employees, the Personnel Beard's three <br /> recommendations of the following candidates are, First - Richard <br /> awr luk, Second - Randolph Peters Jr. , and Third - Michael Labute <br /> for the Full-Time position of Leavy Equipment Operator. Carole D. <br /> seconded the motion. All were in favor, <br /> Chairman Dellaala motioned that in the future the Personnel Board <br /> not interview outside of current town personnel until inside <br /> requiremts have been met for qualified inhouse town personnel. <br /> Carole D. seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> Greg Taylor departed the meeting. <br /> Follow-up on__'Dispatcher Supervisory Position <br /> Marilyn Farren informed the Personnel Board that she had 'met with <br /> Chief Pr y ylek and that they agree there should be an oral and <br /> written interview, role playing and an oral review board. forma K. <br /> commented that there should be -questionaire for the current <br /> dispatcher with regards to both positive and negative comments. <br /> PERSONNEL BOARD <br />
