r <br /> 5 <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> 1a tepee, Massachusetts 0 649 <br /> BOARD of ASSESSORS — PUBLIC SESSION <br /> Maehpee Town Hall —Thursday, April 27, 201 <br /> Assessor's office — 6 p.m. <br /> Board Members Present: Also Present: <br /> Paul Andrews, Chairman Jason Streebel, Director of Assessing <br /> Gregg Fraser, Vice Chairman Fred Gray — Potential Board Member <br /> CALL To ORDER <br /> Chairman Andrews called the meeting to order at B p.m. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS — No public comment. <br /> APPROVAL of MINUTES <br /> Gregg Fraser motioned to approve the Public Session minutes of Larch 8, 2017 as <br /> presented. Paul Andrews seconded the action. <br /> VOTE: Yes-2 <br /> Full call vote: Paul Andrews, yes; Gregg Fraser, yes <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Director Streebel presented a departmental tmental udate. Mr. Btreebel updated the Board with <br /> regards to the Triennial certification which is being conducted several months earlier than , <br /> usual to ensure an unhurried process. Everything is on track to receive approval by the end of <br /> July to Mid-August. The final Re-cap will he completed after October Town fleeting so that <br /> any spending can he accounted for in setting the tax rate. <br /> The Director also updated the Board as to the final valuation setting for State Owned Land <br /> (SOL) by the Division of Local Services. After this SOL valuation, future values will he <br /> adjusted by the new formula contained within the Municipal Modernization Act. If the final <br /> values promulgated by the DLS are not considered fair market value by the Board then the <br /> Director recommends that the BOA appeal. <br /> Execution of Tac Deferral and Recovery Agreement for Julius Rosales — 3F Riverview <br /> Ave. <br /> Director streehel advised the Board that the applicant did qualify for Deferral. <br /> Gregg Fraser motioned to grant the Deferral & Recovery Agreement for Julius <br /> Rosales. Paul Andrews seconded the action. <br /> VOTE: Yes-2 <br /> Roll call vote: Paul Andrews, yes; Gregg Fraser, yes <br /> - 1 � <br />
