Vote signature: Littlefo rd property— execute Acceptance certificates. Property to
be deeded to Conservation Commission with orenda Wildlife Trust Conservation
restriction.
The Agent reviewed the history of this property. He showed the property on photos he
provided. The parcel is among protected land and is a very valuable piece of land and is
a key parcel to acquire. This parcel received funding at torn meeting and the next step
is to put a conservation restriction upon it. The commissioners will need to sign the
quitclaim deed and than it goes to the Board of Selectmen for their signature.
Update: vandalism of John's Pond CA gates — proposed solutions.
The chair stated he attended a meeting with the torn manager, fire chief, the police
chief, the conservation agent and Katherine Laurent from DPW on how to address the
vandalism at John's Fond. He said we have to get serious about the vandalism and
have to find ways to kick up fines. The Agent has been talking to torn counsel about
the fines and other issues. All agreed we have to do something about this situation.
The Police and Fire chiefs were very supportive. The Agent said he will be finding dut
from town counsel if we can increase the fines and if we can impound the vehicles. He
reported all the locks on the four gates were vandalized and the fire chief was concerned
he will not be able to get into the area if there was an emergency. Katelyn cadoret has
prepared a press release which will be in the newspaper.
Motion: Mr. McKay ay moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. smith.
