Sweet at <br /> 5.55 p.m. <br /> There was no public comment <br /> PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br /> MINUT'Es: Approve January 26 2017Minutes. <br /> Motion: Mr. shave moved to approve the January 26, 2017 minutes, seconded by <br /> Mr. McKay. vote -0. <br /> UPDATE: sea Run Brook Trout coalition meeting recap. <br /> The Agent gave an update on the meeting of the Sea Run Brook Trout coalition held at <br /> Waquoit Bay which discussed some of the details and timing regarding the introduction <br /> of Brook Trout to the Santult Pend. The habitat restoration area is on Santuit Fiver <br /> South of Sampson's Mill Road. Ideas were shared on public outreach for riverfront <br /> protection, signage at key locations, link to Brook Trout fact sheet on websites sending <br /> out an information letter to residents who abut riverfront of the Mashpee, Santuit and <br /> uashnet Rivers. They also discussed limiting the outflow from Santuit during the warm <br /> summer months and checking rivers for upcoming herring migration season but no <br /> removal and/or cutting of goody material. Also Steve Hurley, glass Fish and Wildlife, <br /> suggested once this work takes place which is reintroduction of woody structure to the <br /> river and reintroduction of Brook Trout from the Mashpee Fiver over a period of a' <br /> number of years, the Brook Trout will develop their own unique genetic strain as the <br /> previous population had. The Agent noted l atelyn Cadoret, Assistant Agent, will be <br /> meeting with members of the Seabrook Coalition, the Tribe and Mass Fish and Wildlife <br /> down at Maushop Stables to do some field assessments which will take place next <br /> Tuesday. <br /> HEARINGS: <br />
