Thomas O'Neill Robert Anderson Dale McKay <br /> Staff Present; Drew McManus (Conservation Agent) and Judy Daigncault (Recording <br /> Secretary <br /> CALL MEETING To ORDER: 5:55 p.m. <br /> The meeting was called to order with a quorum by Chairman Brad Sweet at <br /> 5:55 .m. <br /> There was no public comment <br /> PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA; <br /> MINUTES: Approve February 23, 2017 Minutes'. (tabled until Marcie 23 meeting) <br /> UPDATE: sea Run Brook Trout coalition onsite meeting recap. original area of <br /> restoration is too shallow. They are looking at a 100+ foot stretch north of <br /> Sampson's Mill Road. <br /> The Agent gave an update on the Sea Run Brook Trout coalition onsite meeting, It was <br /> determined the water level in the santuit river was too shallow to do any restoration <br /> south of Sampsons Mill Rd so now they are going north ofSampson's Hill Road where <br /> water depths are more suitable. At the end of the month they will meet again to start to <br /> put wood} structure hack into the rigor. Mid to late May they will actually take brook trout <br /> from the Mashpee liver and introduce 15 to 20 specimens into the santuit River, The <br /> Agent noted they actually saw a Brook Trout in the Santult River but unfortunately it had <br /> a lame gouge taken out of it from a snapping turtle and it died but it is a positive sign <br /> there may still be Brook Trout in the lower Santuit. Steve Furley, Mass Fish and Wildlife, <br /> will he doing a genetic study on the fish to sae if it is genetically linked to the Santuit <br /> River strain of brook trout previously studied and documented The Agent said he will he <br /> onsite for the next work day when they are going to start putting the woody structure <br /> back in the River. He will send an email to the Commissioners letting thea know about <br /> the date. <br /> HEARINGS: <br /> :00 Russell Lowe and Daren A. O'Rourke, I I Harbor Ridge Drive. Proposed <br /> Amendment to order of conditions 43- 900 to allow for patio expansion. <br /> Continued from 212312017. commission required more detailed plans showing <br /> retaining wall and mitigation plantings.
