i <br /> 2 <br /> James Hanks, homeowner, stated he would like to remove some of the trees on his lot <br /> which are hazardous and also do some pruning. The Agent identified the trees on <br /> photos. Some of the trees are leaning over the house and some of the trees are <br /> infested with bark beetle. He met with the owner to identify the trees to be removed and <br /> the trees to be pruned. He recommended a Negative Determination. <br /> No comment from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. Shaw moved a Negative Determination, seconded by Mr. McKay. <br /> Dote unanimous 4-0 <br /> 6:03 Patrick G. Flynn (Applicant), 95 Tir berlane Drive. Proposed Eagle scout <br /> project to remove invasive vegetation for water access and create ca n oeikaya <br /> launch area. (Town of Mash pee—Owner of record) RDA <br /> Resource Area: Buffer zone to BVW Bordering Land subject to Flooding and <br /> Land Under Dater Bodies and Dater Ways (Santuit#gond) <br /> Patrick Flynn} Eagle Scout, explained his project is to clear a 25 by 25 foot area of the <br /> beach located at 95 Timberlane Drive. He said his project is to make the pond more <br /> accessible by removing invasive shrubs. The work will be. performed by members of <br /> Mashpee Boy Scout Troop and the work would be done by hand and the material will be <br /> removed and taken to the transfer station. He explained the only place that is accessible <br /> to the pond is at the town landing but is often crowded with vehicles. The Agent stated <br /> the area is open space and tern owned land. He met with Patrick and his father on the <br /> site and noted a number of invasives. He said he thought it was a great project to re- <br /> establish access to the pond without having to use the town landing. This location is <br /> much more desirable for the people in the community. DPW may be involved in <br /> removing the debris. <br /> No comment from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. McKay moved a Negative Determination seconded by Mr. Shaw. <br /> Vote unanimous 4-0 <br /> 6:06 Mark J. and Melissa A. Winters, 112 Waterway. Proposed landscape and <br /> hardscape improvements. RDA <br /> Resource Area: Buffer Zone to coastal Bank, LSCSF <br /> JT Newton, Maffei Landscape contractors, represented the applicants. He stated the <br /> proposed project is to remove the existing patio and the removal of the plant bed to <br /> accommodate the new patio which will Include a fire pit. The plantings will be reinstalled <br /> after completion of the patio. The Agent showed the existing conditions on photos <br /> provided and showed the hardscape improvements and landscaping changes which <br /> don't trigger any mitigation. <br /> No comments from the public <br /> 2 <br />
