i 2 James Hanks, homeowner, stated he would like to remove some of the trees on his lot which are hazardous and also do some pruning. The Agent identified the trees on photos. Some of the trees are leaning over the house and some of the trees are infested with bark beetle. He met with the owner to identify the trees to be removed and the trees to be pruned. He recommended a Negative Determination. No comment from the public Motion: Mr. Shaw moved a Negative Determination, seconded by Mr. McKay. Dote unanimous 4-0 6:03 Patrick G. Flynn (Applicant), 95 Tir berlane Drive. Proposed Eagle scout project to remove invasive vegetation for water access and create ca n oeikaya launch area. (Town of Mash pee—Owner of record) RDA Resource Area: Buffer zone to BVW Bordering Land subject to Flooding and Land Under Dater Bodies and Dater Ways (Santuit#gond) Patrick Flynn} Eagle Scout, explained his project is to clear a 25 by 25 foot area of the beach located at 95 Timberlane Drive. He said his project is to make the pond more accessible by removing invasive shrubs. The work will be. performed by members of Mashpee Boy Scout Troop and the work would be done by hand and the material will be removed and taken to the transfer station. He explained the only place that is accessible to the pond is at the town landing but is often crowded with vehicles. The Agent stated the area is open space and tern owned land. He met with Patrick and his father on the site and noted a number of invasives. He said he thought it was a great project to re- establish access to the pond without having to use the town landing. This location is much more desirable for the people in the community. DPW may be involved in removing the debris. No comment from the public Motion: Mr. McKay moved a Negative Determination seconded by Mr. Shaw. Vote unanimous 4-0 6:06 Mark J. and Melissa A. Winters, 112 Waterway. Proposed landscape and hardscape improvements. RDA Resource Area: Buffer Zone to coastal Bank, LSCSF JT Newton, Maffei Landscape contractors, represented the applicants. He stated the proposed project is to remove the existing patio and the removal of the plant bed to accommodate the new patio which will Include a fire pit. The plantings will be reinstalled after completion of the patio. The Agent showed the existing conditions on photos provided and showed the hardscape improvements and landscaping changes which don't trigger any mitigation. No comments from the public 2
