It was noted that several classrooms were upgraded <br /> for use as office space for Project Management services during <br /> con struc tion. <br /> MMR ISSUES: <br /> Draft Letter to EPA for Approval: <br /> On behalf of the Board of Selectmen, Selectman Caffyn drafted a memo <br /> to Carol Browner,Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency <br /> in support of Regional Administrator,John Devillars'Region one order <br /> to protect public health and the environment until the military is able to <br /> demonstrate that its training activities are deemed safe. (enclosed) <br /> Discussion followed. It is the consensus of the Board to obtain a copy <br /> of the order for additional review, and place this matter on the next <br /> scheduled agenda. <br /> Selectman Caffyn stated that Selectman Dinizio may have a conflict of <br /> interest from previous employment at the base, and by having friends in the <br /> military. Selectman Dinizio responded by stating that he does not derive <br /> any financial interest from the base until he reaches the age of sixty. <br /> ?` Selectman Dinizio stated that he feels there is no conflict of interest <br /> regarding this matter. <br /> AY <br /> CYC <br /> f- <br /> is <br /> y <br />
