COUNCIL oN AGING MINUTES <br /> JANUARY 119 2 017 <br /> Present: Council on Aging Members; Ernie Cornelssen, Irving Goldberg, Jean Noussee, <br /> l arij o Dorney, Virginia McIntyre, Jack Jordan, Council on Aging Director Lynne <br /> Waterman and outreach Coordinator Darlene Perkins. <br /> Absent: David Egel,Norah McCormick, Mary Gaffney <br /> Chairman Ernie Cornelssen opened the meeting at 8 3 0 a,m <br /> APPROVAL of MINUTES —December 14, 201 <br /> Motion: Irving Goldberg moved to approve the minutes of December 14, 2016, <br /> seconded by Jean Noussee. Vote 6-0 <br /> Public Comments <br /> COMMUNICATIONS ANIS CORRESPONDENCE <br /> 1 <br /> DIRECTOR'S TOR' DEPORT <br /> Director Lynne Waterman distributed her report for the month of December. The <br /> Director highlighted she and the Activity Coordinator planned new programs for <br /> February. She was in contact With a local assisted living facility to discuss future <br /> programs. <br /> The Director stated the van required a major repair which was completed by the DPW <br /> staff, <br /> The Director thanked the DPW staff who resolved a heating issue and completed several <br /> small building repairs, The annual inspection of the kitchen fire suppression system was <br /> performed. <br /> The Director reported one of the mini-bus drivers resigned and the position has been <br /> posted by the Town. She also noted the office Assistant has resumed her duties. <br /> The Director reviewed a list of several meetings she attended. <br /> The Director reported she spoke at the New eaburyWomen's Club meeting and <br /> accepted a donation for the annual holiday gift delivery for the l ashpee seniors., She <br /> thanked thein for their generosity and also thanked all the organizations that supported <br /> the holiday gift delivery, <br />
