VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR REPO T <br /> Director Waterman distributed and reviewed the Volunteer Coordinator report for the <br /> month of June. The Volunteer Coordinated noted in her report the Volunteer recognition <br /> was a success. Everyone enjoyed the luncheon. The Volunteer of the Year was Lorraine <br /> Malcolm who has been involved at the Council on Aging doing a variety of jobs for <br /> many years. The Rookie of the Year was Jocelyn Jones who has contributed in many <br /> ways at the front desk and helping with the Library at the Center. <br /> She is working on recruiting new volunteers. <br /> Motion: Irving Goldberg moved to accept the Volunteer Coordinator Report, <br /> seconded by Jean l oussee. Vote unanimous 4-0 <br /> ACTIVI'T`Y COORDINATOR REPORT <br /> The Director distributed the Activity Coordinator report forthe month of.Tyne. The <br /> Activity Coordinator noted in her report she has been contacting many entertainers and <br /> presenters. She is working on a Halloween performance and on new programs that will <br /> be starting in the fall. The Activity Coordinator also reported she will continue to meet <br /> with as many of the seniors as possible and continue to develop programs and <br /> presentations. <br /> Motion: Jean I oussee moved to accept the Activity Coordinator Report, seconded <br /> by Mar"o Gorney. Vote 4-0 <br /> Old Business -None <br /> New Business <br /> Update--Massachusetts Association,of Councils on Aging/Executive office of Elder <br /> Affairs <br /> The Nrector gave a brief update on the MCOA activities.
