Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 2 <br /> October 20, 1997 <br /> IMARIM-1- <br /> Reu=st of_,All Tow Taxi'- <br /> Selectman Costa opened the hearing on the request of All Town Taxi <br /> to change the business name to All Village Taxi,of Mashpee. <br /> John Bartolornei was present with his counsel,David Snow to discuss <br /> the request with members of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Selectman Costa indicated that the Selectmen are anticipating a report <br /> from Sergeant Umina relative to the regulation, operation and enforcement <br /> of taxi cabs. He recommended the Board continue the hearing until such <br /> information has been received, and reviewed by the Selectmen. <br /> Attorney Snow stated that Policy No. 024 under Section S;Fee Structure <br /> is difficult to determine. He is requesting the Board grant permission for <br /> his client to be licensed for 6)taxi cabs in the Town of Mashpee. At this <br /> time All Town Taxi has(1)license to operate(1)taxi cab in Mashpee. <br /> y � <br /> Motiontion <br /> made b Selectman Frye to continue the hearing on the <br /> request of All Town Taxi for a change of business name to; <br /> Monday,November 3, 19970 i <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn- <br /> vojEr'ov <br /> Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Mr. Mu itenour was directed by the Board to conduct due diligence <br /> on this matter, and request a timely response from Sergeant Um' <br /> . <br /> Eric Smith,Assistant Town Planner was present to recommend the <br /> Board initiate <br /> the process to develop a Historic District Study Committee <br /> . <br /> to consider a Historic District for the area around the traditional.Mashpee <br /> Village Center. <br />
