Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 5 <br /> November 17, 1997 <br /> AUQ2E3dUaS-ANDIffiARZM:. <br /> . -Alonguin Axea=- (continued) <br /> Mr. whritenour presented several scenario's to the audience of <br /> approximately forty concerned residents. It was noted that forty-one <br /> residents actually abut Algonquin Avenue. <br /> Mr. W ritenour discussed methods to proportion the benefit of road <br /> reconstruction, and creative ways to expand the betterment fees associated <br /> with this project. <br /> Discussion ensued with regards to the neighboring Southport development and <br /> the potential road betterment and benefit of the water main installation. <br /> Selectman Frye opened the Public Hearing to obtain comment. <br /> Louise Behrman indicated that the road has deteriorated after the installation of <br /> r main. She suggested the Board consider taking the-ate gg g the intersecting roads <br /> that are not public,but are in need of repair. <br /> Charles Stone asked if the reconstruction would include the portion of <br /> Algonquin located across Route 151? Mr. Taylor responded by stating that <br /> reconstruction would encompass the southerly side of Route 151. The area <br /> of�1 uestion is referred to as Alqonquin Ave. extension. <br /> Joanne Holmes voiced Concern with regards to publ is safety. Christine Martin <br /> asked if residents will have input in the reconstruction process?
