Selectman <br /> Caffyn noted that the deadline date for comments on the 60%designis <br /> February 20 1996. <br /> In other matters,Mr. Taylor addressed the modeling assumption that <br /> there will be no change to the elevation of thePo nds. We need to follow <br /> through to see that the water quality going back to the ponds is of the <br /> same temperature,ph and dissolved oxygen indicated Mr. Taylor, <br /> Selectman Dinizio made note of a similar situation in Long Island. Filters <br /> were required by a company to remove contarments from the public <br /> and private wells. Selectman Dinizio asked if the bureau intends to provide <br /> filters for this project as it was done in Long Island. <br /> Mr.Minor indicated that the bureau does not <br /> tan to provide filters. The <br /> P <br /> project will meet all federal drinking water standards. It was noted that the <br /> treated water to be re-injected into the galleries would contain lower levels <br /> of contamination than some of the water provided by the Bourne Water <br /> District. <br /> Mr. Bacigalupi presented a s of concerns addressed by members <br /> of the Plume Containment Team in a memo dated February 9, 1996. <br /> (enclosed) <br /> *It is the consensus of the Board to schedule a Public Hearing on this <br /> matter on Tuesday,February 20, 1996 at 8:00 p.m. The location will <br /> be announced. If the Middle School is unavailable,the great room of <br /> the Mashpee Town Hall will be utilized for this purpose. <br /> Selectman Costa requested Mr. Minior extend any dates to allow for <br /> public comment on this important matter. <br /> Adjournment: <br /> Motion trade by Selectman Mills to adjourn at 8:20 p.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> YOTE.• Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> yt Kathleen M.
