iK Page 7 Board of S electme n Minutes March 4, 1996 APPOI NTS AND HEARINGS: Public Hearing Liquor License Transfer,-,Deer Crossin Market: Selectman Vaccaro opened the Public Hearing on the application of L.L.R.C., Inc, d/b/a Deer Crossing Market for a transfer of the Annual All Alcohol Retail Package Goods Store License from BIA,Inc, d/b/a Deer Crossing Market. Attorney Richard Schiffmann and L. Ronald Capozzoli,Jr.,president and manager were present to discuss the license application with the Board of Selectmen. Mr.Whritenour indicated that the Board is in receipt of the application. It is necessary for the applicant to submit a certified check in the amount of $50.00 made payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Alcoholic Beverages Commission, a copy of the birth certificate for the manager of record, and documents verifying the source of financing. All other necessary paperwork is in order. It was noted that the Cape Cod Five Cents Saving Bank is the source of financing for the applicant. Selectman Vaccaro opened the Public Hearing to solicit comment. Orin Evans, a member of the Board of Health indicated that his department has not yet received formal notification of the application transfer. Mr.Evans indicated that the permits issued by the Board of Health are not transferable. Selectman Caffyn asked Mr. Capozzoli of the size of the establishment. Mr. Capozzoli indicated that it is currently 2100 square feet. He intends to increase the facility to 2500 square feet. W. Capozzoli also noted that he would like to focus on being more of an international/gourmet,market specializing in beer and wine. All liquor sales will consume the same square footage requirements as clearly defined in the permit. Being no further comment Selectman Vaccaro closed the Public Hearing.
