iK <br /> Page 7 <br /> Board of S electme n <br /> Minutes <br /> March 4, 1996 <br /> APPOI NTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing Liquor License Transfer,-,Deer Crossin Market: <br /> Selectman Vaccaro opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> L.L.R.C., Inc, d/b/a Deer Crossing Market for a transfer of the Annual <br /> All Alcohol Retail Package Goods Store License from BIA,Inc, d/b/a <br /> Deer Crossing Market. <br /> Attorney Richard Schiffmann and L. Ronald Capozzoli,Jr.,president and <br /> manager were present to discuss the license application with the Board of <br /> Selectmen. <br /> Mr.Whritenour indicated that the Board is in receipt of the application. <br /> It is necessary for the applicant to submit a certified check in the amount of <br /> $50.00 made payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or <br /> Alcoholic Beverages Commission, a copy of the birth certificate for the <br /> manager of record, and documents verifying the source of financing. <br /> All other necessary paperwork is in order. It was noted that the Cape Cod <br /> Five Cents Saving Bank is the source of financing for the applicant. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro opened the Public Hearing to solicit comment. <br /> Orin Evans, a member of the Board of Health indicated that his department <br /> has not yet received formal notification of the application transfer. <br /> Mr.Evans indicated that the permits issued by the Board of Health are <br /> not transferable. <br /> Selectman Caffyn asked Mr. Capozzoli of the size of the establishment. <br /> Mr. Capozzoli indicated that it is currently 2100 square feet. He intends <br /> to increase the facility to 2500 square feet. <br /> W. Capozzoli also noted that he would like to focus on being more of <br /> an international/gourmet,market specializing in beer and wine. All liquor <br /> sales will consume the same square footage requirements as clearly <br /> defined in the permit. <br /> Being no further comment Selectman Vaccaro closed the Public Hearing. <br />
