Pae S <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes-revised <br /> March 4, 1996 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Puhli.g Hearing.-Liquor License Transfer-Deer Crossing-Mark= <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the application <br /> of L.L.R.C., Inc. d/b/a Deer Crossing Market for a transfer <br /> of the Annual All Alcohol Retail Package Goods Store License <br /> from BIA, Inc. d/b/a Deer Crossing Market, and allow for the <br /> license to be pledged to the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings <br /> Bank contingent upon; the receipt of a certified check in the <br /> amount of $50.00 payable to the Commonwealth of <br /> Massachusetts- and/or Alcoholic Beverages Control <br /> Commission, a copy of the birth certificate for the manager <br /> of record, and documents verifying the source of financing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. <br /> YOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Selectman Dinizio abstained. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Follow-uv Discussion -warrantfBudget: <br /> Board of Health - Article 20: <br /> Elias McQuaid and Robert Cram were present to discuss Article#20 <br /> with the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Article#20: To establish an Emergency Hazard Account to be expended <br /> under the direction of the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Health <br /> in the amount of$10,000. <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that the article seeks to address unpredictable <br /> emergencies, such as, but not limited to; groundwater contamination, <br /> g <br /> hazardous materials spills, and storm related public health concerns. <br /> Funds do not currently exist in the budget for emergency situations <br /> related Mr. McQuaid. <br /> B and of Health Expense Account: <br /> It is the consensus of the Board toplace the additional sum of$1,600 <br /> to the expense account of the Board of Health for the purpose of funding <br /> additional human service agency contracts. Total amount: $50,355. <br />
