Page 2 Board of Selectmen Minutes May 23, 1996 APP o NTS AND BEARINGS: School Building Committeg: Change Qrd grs#14.#15, � Mr. Griffin reviewed the above change orders with the Board of Selectman for consideration. (enclosed) Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve Change order #14 in the amount of $370,237 as outlined. Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. YOTE* Unanimous. 3-0. Selectman Caffyn, Selectman Marsters abstained. Motion made b Selectman Costa to approve Chane order #15 y pp g in the amount of $12,935 as outlined. Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. Y.Q-IE: Unanimous. 5-0. Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve Change order #16 in the amount of $20,356 as outlined. Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. G VQ : Unanimous. 5-0. With char respect to the above a orders and related architectural.contract, P g Mr. Griffin indicated that any project omissions and/or flaws shall be further reviewed b the Committee and reimbursed b the project architect. Y Y P J Quahty Issues: Mr.Griffin discussed the present quality of the High School Building with members of the Board of Selectmen. Mr.Griffin indicated that there are no major outstanding quality issues to date. There has been great cooperation between all parties involved in the project, and on the job site noted Mr. Griffin. Mr. Gunn has roved to be a good push to et the project moving ahead P g P g in an expeditious manner stated Mr. Griffin who noted that he has attended weekly management meetings with Stone Construction Company. Mr. Griffin also stated that Chartwell and Company, and the Clerk of the Works have been doing a great job, and have documented all progress. It was noted that Chartwell and the Clerk have conducted an independent study of the project scope in addition to the architects review. There is nothing of substance that appears to be a problem at this time.
